SPAN USA's Lifekeeper Program

Lifekeeper Memory Quilts

As part of SPAN USA's Lifekeeper program, the Lifekeeper Memory Quilts serve as a creative outlet for survivors' grief as well as a touching, visual reminder of so many who were lost to suicide. By putting a 'face' on suicide, these quilts help carry the message that preventing suicide is not just about lowering statistics, but also about saving the lives of mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters across the nation.

SPAN USA's Quilt Organizers help coordinate and create Lifekeeper Memory Quilts. Currently there are about 100 quilts in 43 different states. Our goal is for all fifty states and any specialty group interested to be represented at the annual quilt display in Washington, DC during SPAN USA's national event
