SPAN USA prevents suicide using the strategic framework of opening minds and changing policy in order to save lives. By increasing awareness and catalyzing public action around suicide prevention, SPAN USA's projects are also guided by its four underlying goal priorities of advancing public policy, organizing communities, engaging survivors, and promoting the application of best practices in suicide prevention.
