SPAN USA staff members periodically provide training and conference presentations across the country. If you are interested in having a presentation about any of the following topics, please contact us at info@spanusa.org

  • advocating for suicide prevention policy changes
  • federal and state legislative advances in suicide prevention
  • engaging and supporting suicide survivors and attempt survivors
  • basic suicide information and suicide prevention 101
  • engaging the media
  • addressing the issue of suicide among specific groups such as youth, elderly, etc.

Additionally, in collaboration with the national Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC), SPAN USA offers the Strategic Planning for Suicide Prevention (SPSP) modules. For more information about SPSP, click here.

NOTE: SPAN USA staff do not provide training in clinical skills nor crisis intervention training. For such training consider checking the SPRC/AFSP Best Practices Registry for various available programs, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, the SPRC Training Institute, or the American Association of Suicidology.
